### Getting the best color
Even with these modern patterns, the quality of the henna matters. I use my signature organic, home-mixed cones to ensure you get that deep, maroon stain that lasts. Floral designs look best when the stain is dark. To get there, keep your hands warm after application and follow my aftercare routine, especially with the lemon-sugar sealant I apply. Remember, patience is the secret ingredient to the darkest stain.
