Whether it is a shaded rose or a tight grid pattern, I use a fine-tip cone to build the design slowly. That is how I ensure the henna stays crisp and the final stain comes out rich and even. People often ask me why some mehandi designs fade faster or look blurry. The secret is not just in the henna mixture, it is in the hand control. I prepare my own natural henna cones, triple-sifted to ensure they do not clog when I am working on those tiny, intricate floral motifs. If you look closely at my work, you will see I focus on the pressure of the cone. For the delicate, fine-line detailing often found in my bridal portraits or modern negative space designs, a steady hand is essential. I take my time with every curve, letting the henna sit long enough to bond with the skin before moving to the next section. In Varanasi or when I travel for weddings in the NCR, I use the same technique. My clients often notice that my lines are thinner and more consistent than standard, rushed party mehandi.
