This is not just about drawing lines, it is about maintaining a steady flow to build texture and depth. Whether I am outlining a complex peacock motif or filling in architectural jaali work, that consistency is what prevents the henna from bleeding and ensures a sharp, clean stain once it dries on your skin. The artistry of mehndi is often judged by the final stain, but the foundation lies entirely in the application process. By working in distinct panels—or blocks—I ensure the symmetry of the design remains perfect. This prevents errors that are hard to correct once the henna has settled.
