In our sessions, we incorporate elements like seasonal fruits and biodegradable materials to challenge the standard definition of a floral arrangement. This approach forces you to stop relying on pre-packaged design formulas and start building an eye for structure, texture, and creative problem-solving. ### Designing with Intention My workshops focus on the 'why' behind every stem placement. When we introduce non-floral elements, you learn about weight, balance, and spatial logic—skills that stay with you regardless of the specific arrangement you are creating. You will learn to view a basket or a vase as a canvas, not just a container. ### The Role of Color Psychology We do not just pick colors because they look pretty. You will learn how specific hues trigger emotions. Whether you are designing for a home centerpiece or a professional event, understanding color theory is what separates an amateur arrangement from a professionally executed design. ### Sustainability in Floristry We prioritize teaching modern, eco-conscious mechanics. From using chicken wire and natural fibers to understanding how to maintain longevity with minimal waste, you will learn how to practice floristry in a way that is respectful of the materials and the environment. ### Why Learn This Way? Whether you are a beginner looking for a creative outlet or an aspiring professional, these modules provide a rigorous foundation. You will walk away with: - Practical knowledge of flower conditioning and hydration. - The ability to source and select high-quality materials. - Confidence to handle client briefs or design for personal joy. By the end of our sessions, you will not just have a beautiful arrangement to take home; you will have a new perspective on how to approach design challenges. ## About Meghaa Modi Design School I am Meghaa, and I founded this school to teach floral design as a form of creative expression, not just decoration.
