In my studio, I teach you how to properly iron and lock your pleats using steam or dry iron settings. This is not just about folding; it is about prepping your saree so you can wear it in minutes, whether you are dealing with heavy Kanjivarams or lightweight daily-wear silks. ### Why Pre-Pleating Changes Everything We have all been there. You are running late for a wedding or a puja, and you are still struggling to get the pleats even. Pre-pleating removes the panic. By using heat to set the fabric, the saree maintains its shape from the moment you drape it until you take it off at the end of the night. ### What You Will Master * **Steam vs. Dry Ironing:** I show you which fabric needs what. Stiff silks like Kanjivarams require precise temperature control to get a sharp edge without burning the zari. * **The Pinning Hack:** It is not about using more pins, it is about using them in the right places. I teach you the minimal-pin technique so your saree stays secure, sharp, and comfortable for long durations. * **Box Folding for Storage:** Once your pleats are set, I teach you the box-folding method.
