We use traditional mortise and tenon joinery reinforced with industrial glue, specifically to handle the constant wear and tear of a commercial guest room. This ensures joints remain stable even as wood naturally expands and contracts in humid coastal climates. ### Why solid wood matters in hospitality When furnishing a hotel, you need furniture that survives years of heavy use, not just items that look good for a season. We exclusively work with solid teak because of its natural resistance to warping, humidity, and pests.
