I work with high-fired stoneware to ensure your pieces are durable enough for daily use, but hand-painted or sculpted so they look nothing like factory-made ware. Expect the small, natural marks that prove your item was shaped by human hands. I don't just make pottery, I create pieces that hold meaning. When you order a custom mug or a teapot, you are getting something made to last. My process uses high-fired stoneware, which is not only microwave-safe but tough enough for the daily routine of a busy kitchen. Whether you are looking for a unique cookie jar, a specific set of bowls, or a teapot that pours just right, I work with you from the initial shape to the final glaze choice. Creating custom ceramic kitchenware takes time. Because each piece is wheel-thrown or hand-built and then fired, you should plan for a 3 to 4-week production cycle. This includes testing designs and ensuring the final result is exactly what you envisioned. If you are in Bengaluru and want to move away from mass-produced sets, let's talk about creating a collection that fits your kitchen shelves perfectly. ## About Maya's Pottery I’m Maya.
