From the way light falls across a concrete passage to the structural rhythm of a hotel facade, our approach is built on balancing raw, natural materials with functional, human-centric layouts. We do not just build spaces; we design them to age well. Architecture is, at its core, a conversation between the site and the people who inhabit it. For us at Maya Architects, this means rejecting cookie-cutter designs in favor of layouts that respond to local climate and the specific 'soul' of the property. ### Our Approach to Space We are known for our focus on the 'play of volumes' and 'light and shadow dramatics'. Whether we are handling the structural shell of a commercial hotel like Hotel Sahana Grand in Tirupati or designing a residence that frames the Ooty landscape, we prioritize how the space feels throughout the day. Our team integrates technical precision—such as climate-responsive orientation and complex facade fabrication—with an artistic sensibility that brings warmth to concrete and steel. ### From Concept to Construction We believe the design process is not a solitary act but a collaborative journey. Our team, Team Maya, works from the initial sketch to the final construction drawings. * **Hospitality Design:** We specialize in guest experience design, balancing public reception areas with private, restful zones. * **Residential Architecture:** We blend Karnataka vernacular elements with contemporary needs, ensuring your home is both an art piece and a functional shelter. * **Landscape Integration:** We treat the outdoors as an extension of your interiors, using courtyards and light wells to keep spaces breathable and connected to nature. We provide end-to-end consultancy, ensuring our design intent survives the construction phase through periodic site visits and detailed GFC sets. ## About Maya Architects We are Team Maya, a collective in Bengaluru that treats every structure as a living entity. We find beauty in the intersection of traditional vernacular forms and modern living, always seeking that dramatic interplay of light and shadow.
