I recommend planning your shoot for the late afternoon at spots like Smriti Van or Central Park, where the soft, golden light creates a warm glow that complements the gowns I provide for these sessions. ### Planning Your Outdoor Session Nature provides the best backdrop for maternity photography. Whether we choose the quiet paths of Smriti Van or the open lawns of Central Park, the goal is to capture the anticipation of these nine months in a way that feels honest rather than staged. **Logistics & Comfort** * **Location:** I cover outdoor shoots within a 15km radius of my Karni Vihar studio. If you have a specific park or garden in mind, let me know when we discuss your booking. * **Duration:** Outdoor sessions are part of a 3 to 4-hour combined package. This allows us time to settle in, adjust to the light, and ensure you aren't feeling rushed or tired. * **Wardrobe:** You can choose up to 3 costume changes. I provide 1 basic long-trail gown or a fabric drape for those flowing shots that look great in the wind. You are welcome to bring two personal outfits that make you feel like yourself. **What to Expect** I focus on a mix of 60% candid interactions and 40% posed portraits. While I will guide you on how to stand to flatter your bump, the most beautiful images often happen when you are just walking, talking, or laughing with your partner. I encourage you to include the father and any siblings in the shoot—these are family portraits, after all. After the session, I provide 25-30 high-end retouched images. You will also get all the usable raw files, so you don't lose any of the candid moments that didn't make the final edit. ## About Maternity & Baby Shoot I see photography as a way to freeze those moments when your whole house is holding its breath in anticipation.
