We do not just give lectures; we lead workshops where you actually touch the mud, mix the lime, and understand why these materials breathe differently than concrete. Whether it is mentoring students or speaking on panels, our goal is to show that sustainable construction is not an abstract concept—it is practical, durable, and ready for mainstream use. For us at Masons Ink, architectural practice extends far beyond the construction site. It is about building a community of conscious builders. Our involvement in platforms like the Young Architects Festival (YAF) and the India Art, Architecture and Design Biennale (IAADB) stems from a desire to demystify traditional methods. When we brought our tensile mud structures and Tadelakt lime plaster spheres to the Red Fort, the goal was simple: to let people experience the tactile reality of natural building. Mud is not fragile; it is timeless. Through our 'Nirmana' workshops, we share the technical nuances of soil testing, lime plastering, and bamboo construction with students and fellow practitioners. We believe that by passing on these skills, we make sustainable building accessible rather than exclusive. If you have been curious about how to integrate these practices into your own project or want to learn the science behind our walls, we invite you to reach out. Our workshops provide the practical foundation needed to start your own journey in natural building. ## About Masons Ink Sridevi and I believe that architecture is a conversation, not just construction. We love getting out of the studio to discuss the ethics of building, whether it is with students, fellow architects, or anyone curious about why we choose mud over concrete.
