This traditional style, with its rich brocade and floral potlis, is perfect for 'shaadi ka shagun'.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/b23a881f-2396-49de-af91-762d2ded45af) ## About Shaadi Ka Shagun & Wedding Gifting When planning your wedding rituals, the presentation of your gifts—from the Haldi thali to the final trousseau hampers—sets the emotional tone for the ceremony. I hand-craft these pieces using rich brocade, organza, and delicate gota patti, ensuring your gifts look as thoughtful and warm as the blessings they carry. ### Beyond the Box Wedding gifting is often reduced to standard plastic wrappers, but I believe the way you present a gift tells a story. Whether it is a shagun thali for your Roka or a elaborate trousseau hamper for the bride, my approach is to treat every piece as a functional art form. I avoid mass-produced designs, preferring to source fabrics like velvet and raw silk that hold up beautifully under the harsh lighting of wedding venues and cameras. ### Customization & Process I work directly with you to match the packaging to your wedding theme. If you have a specific color palette—like marigold yellows for the Haldi or deep royal reds for the wedding day—I can customize the frills, floral bunches, and metal embellishments to match. My process is simple: 1. **Consultation:** We discuss the volume of gifts and the theme. 2. **Material Selection:** You choose between minimal, traditional, or luxurious styles. 3. **Crafting:** Every hamper and tray is hand-assembled in my Delhi workshop, ensuring sturdy construction that is easy to store and reuse. ### Practicality for Delhi Weddings Having worked across Delhi NCR, I understand the logistical chaos of wedding seasons. My packaging is designed to be travel-friendly and durable. I use stiffened backing and quality adhesives, so your hampers stay intact from the car to the venue. If you are looking for trousseau packing that feels rooted in heritage but looks fresh for 2024, I would love to help you put it together. ## About Marit Decor I’m Rajan, and weddings are where my heart truly lies.
