## About Residential Architecture

### What We Do

I design homes that feel calm, open, and properly connected with the outdoors. My style is minimal and modern, but I keep it simple - no flashy stuff, just clean lines and honest materials. Every design starts fresh, shaped by the land and your lifestyle. I don't do copy-paste plans.

### How I Work

- The site leads the way. I always check for existing trees, views, and sunlight before a single wall goes up. Your plot decides the flow, not the other way around.
- I love blending inside and outside - big windows, verandas, courtyards, and sit-outs make sure you never feel boxed in. Families with pets get special layouts. For example, I once planned gardens just for the dogs, with direct access from the living room.
- Climate-responsive home design is my thing. No giant west-facing glass walls, boss! I use shade, screens, and smart orientation so homes stay cool naturally. Less AC, more comfort.
- My palette? Mostly exposed concrete, crisp white walls, vitrified tiles, and local Indian stone like Sadarhalli granite. These materials last long, look good, and don't break the bank.

### From Start to Finish

I’m hands-on from sketches to construction. I stick around on-site, making sure what we build matches what we dreamed up. No shortcuts, no drama.

## Meet your expert

[ma+rs](https://mytribe.in/maplusrs)

### My story

Hey, we’re Anisha and Sabyasachi, the duo behind ma+rs. Bangalore’s always buzzing, but we’re about carving out calm corners in the chaos. For us, a house isn’t just walls—it’s a living, breathing spot that fits right into its patch of earth. We love mixing inside with outside, like wrapping homes around old coconut trees or making space for gardens and pets. We’re all about teamwork, from designers to local artisans, everyone’s got a piece in the story.

### My work

- **Architecture & Interior Design**: We design homes from scratch, handling both architecture and interiors for residential spaces.
- **Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living**: Our spaces blur boundaries, letting homes spill into gardens and frame nature—think homes with existing trees.
- **Minimal & Honest Materials**: We keep things simple—exposed concrete, local stone, wood. Clean, calm, nothing flashy.
- **Collaborative & Hands-on Process**: We start with physical models, work closely with you, and keep things real—even on tight budgets.
- **Pet-Friendly & Family Homes**: We get families, pets, and city plots. Our pet-friendly home design makes sure everyone’s got their spot.
