## About Designer & Lookbook Shoots

When we shoot for lookbooks, standard party makeup just does not work. I use specific HD bases that are flash-friendly, which means no white cast or flashback in your final photos. We focus on textures—whether that is a sharp graphic liner for a modern collection or a dewy, ethereal finish for a bridal gown line—that translate perfectly on camera without needing heavy retouching later.

### My Approach to Designer Shoots

I treat every shoot like a creative experiment. When I collaborate with a designer or a brand, my job is to make sure the makeup doesn't just look good in person, but performs under the specific constraints of studio lighting and harsh camera flashes.

### Why Technique Matters

Photography creates its own reality. For a lookbook, I focus on:

*   **Flash-Friendly Foundations:** I avoid heavy, chalky products that reflect light incorrectly. My skin prep involves layering serums and toners to create a natural, dewy, or matte finish that catches the light exactly where we want it to.
*   **Definition & Texture:** In a print or digital campaign, subtle details get lost. I work with sharp liners, precisely blended eyeshadows, and defined features that read clearly in high-resolution images.
*   **Experimental Elements:** If a collection is avant-garde, I bring that to the face. From graphic liners and rhinestones to unconventional color palettes, I help build the visual story of the collection.

### How We Collaborate

Every project starts with a conversation. Before the shoot date, we will discuss your mood board, the lighting setup, and the costume palette. I work closely with photographers and stylists to make sure the makeup is an extension of the garments, not a distraction from them.

Whether you are a model building a portfolio or a brand launching a new line, I provide consistent, reliable on-set support. This includes touch-ups for sweat control, managing fly-aways, and lipstick re-application throughout the shoot to ensure your final raw files are as clean as possible.
