In our sessions, we focus on the 'why' behind every delivery. If a ball isn't turning, we don't just bowl another one. We pause, check the video footage of your wrist position, and adjust the biomechanics until that ball grips and turns sharply. Cricket isn't just a game; for a serious spinner, it is a discipline. My coaching sessions at Nizamuddin East are designed to be hands-on and technical, not just a casual net session. ### The Technical Focus We start with the foundation. If your grip is loose or your head position falls, you will never get consistent turn. I break down your action frame-by-frame, focusing on: - **Wrist Position:** Ensuring the 'rip' is consistent, whether you are bowling an off-break, leg-break, or the doosra. - **Body Alignment:** How your front shoulder and hip move during the delivery stride to create drift in the air. - **Tactical Awareness:** Learning when to flight the ball and when to bowl flat. A spinner who thinks is a spinner who takes wickets. ### Turf vs. Astro-Turf I train students on both natural turf and AstroTurf nets. Turf allows you to see how the ball grips on a natural surface, while AstroTurf is excellent for testing your accuracy and consistency. ### Remote Mentorship For those who cannot make it to the ground, I offer dedicated online video analysis. You send me your match or net footage, and I perform a detailed diagnostic of your biomechanics. We then formulate a plan with home-based shadow drills that you can do in any small space. My approach is simple: I don't care about your natural talent as much as I care about your willingness to work.
