It is not always clean, and sometimes I mess up, but that is where the real fun happens. If you are curious about how I build depth with markers or layer colors on digital landscapes, these timelapses give you an unfiltered look at my workflow. When I start a new piece, the process changes completely depending on the medium. With digital illustration on my iPad, I use Procreate to layer textures and blend colors until the lighting feels just right. It is forgiving, which is great for trying out new ideas, but I still treat every stroke with the same discipline as my physical work. On the flip side, working with markers or paint is a different beast. There is no undo button when you are laying down alcohol marker strokes or metallic gold ink. That is why I take my time with the initial pencil guide. I usually share my process, from the initial mess to the finished piece, because I think seeing the effort makes the final artwork mean more. Whether it is food illustrations, fashion sketches, or intricate mandala designs, I aim for that balance between clean lines and vibrant energy.
