## About Custom Digital Illustrations

### About Me

I’m Mallika, and I basically live and breathe art. UX designer by day, illustrator by night - sometimes both at once if there's chai on hand. Art block hits hard and yeah, I second-guess myself on big projects, but that’s just honest. I've worked with brands like Netflix and Red Bull, but the real thrill comes from creating something personal for someone or bringing a wild idea to life.

### My Art Style

Think Disney-inspired portrait art, but with all the desi feels. I’m all about warm, expressive digital illustrations that tell a story. Whether it's a goofy childhood memory or a dramatic couple moment, I try to capture the emotion behind it. Everything’s drawn on my iPad, so I can switch between cute, cartoonish looks and more semi-realistic styles, depending on the mood.

### What I Create

- Personalized couple illustration, wedding or anniversary art, and stylized portraits - perfect for gifts or just because.
- Brand mascot illustration and social media visuals for campaigns that need a little extra character.
- Children’s book style: whimsical, colorful, and straight out of a fairy tale.
- Custom character design: OCs, zodiac signs, reimagined film characters - you name it, I’ll sketch it.

### How We Work

I like to keep it simple:
- We chat about your idea, mood, and style.
- I send rough sketches, you tell me what’s working.
- I tweak, add colors, and details till it feels just right.
- You get the final illustration, ready to share or print.

If your idea’s a little hatke (quirky), I’m always game. Let’s make something that feels like you!

## Meet your expert

[Mallika Mohta](https://mytribe.in/mallikamohta)

### My story

Hey, I’m Mallika from Kolkata. Political Science grad, but honestly, I’ve been doodling since I was tiny - art was always my thing. NIFT Delhi for my Master’s? Wild ride. Alone in a new city, super tough at first, but then I grew, made friends, and got that gold medal! Now I’m a UX designer by day, illustrator by night. Potterhead, GoT nerd, and big on true crime. Also, baking and sewing keep me sane. Destiny, I guess.

### My work

- **Illustration & Design Storytelling**: I make custom character illustrations, children's book art, and portraits for weddings or special occasions.
- **Dreamy, Detailed Style**: My art’s got that Disney vibe - dreamy characters, warm lighting, and loads of tiny details.
- **Process & Growth**: Love sharing ‘sketch with me’ videos, showing how I build layers, and even redraw my old stuff to see my growth.
- **Open for Collabs**: Worked with Netflix and Redbull. Whether it’s a big brand or something personal, I’m up for new ideas.
