We focus heavily on abhinaya (expression) and hasta mudras (hand gestures) to help you tell a story through movement. With 8 structured classes per month, you get the right balance of technical drills, flexibility training, and full choreography, all wrapped up with a professional group video shoot to document your progress. ### Why Semi-Classical? If you want the grace of classical dance without the rigid constraints of a purely traditional syllabus, this is the place to be. We take the fundamentals of technique—footwork, alignment, and posture—and mix them with contemporary storytelling. It's about finding that balance between discipline and expression. ### What You Will Learn Every month, our 8-session program is designed to take you from basics to performance-ready. You won't just learn a routine; you will understand the nuances of the music. * **Technical Drills:** We start with strength-building and flexibility to ensure your body is ready for complex movements. * **Abhinaya & Expression:** Learning to convey emotions through facial expressions and eye movements is a huge part of our training. * **Hasta Mudras:** We teach the specific hand gestures that define the elegance of semi-classical dance. * **Professional Recording:** At the end of the term, we host a group shoot with studio lighting and gimbal work so you can see your own growth. ### Who Is This For? Whether you are a complete beginner or someone with prior dance experience, our batches are kept small—usually 12 to 15 students—so you get personalized feedback. We operate out of our Ashok Vihar studio, which features professional sprung flooring to protect your knees and wall-to-wall mirrors to help you correct your own lines.
