## About Modern Reception & Sangeet Glam

The secret to a flawless reception look isn't just about applying more product; it is managing how different finishes, like cream shimmers and soft mattes, react under evening lighting. In my academy, I focus on teaching you to create a base that stays dewy and fresh for hours, rather than layering on heavy foundation that can look cakey in event photography.

Modern weddings demand versatility. While traditional muhurtham looks focus on gold and heavy heritage pieces, reception and sangeet events call for a different set of skills—soft glam, precise contouring, and long-lasting finishes that handle the transition from indoor sangeet stages to late-night dance floors.

In my certification program, we move beyond textbook basics to handle real-world challenges. You will learn:

* **Eyes and Lighting:** Mastering the soft smokey eye and applying shimmer without the fallout. We practice how to make the eyes the focal point, ensuring they pop in high-definition photos without overwhelming the face.
* **Skin Prep for Glow:** Reception skin needs to look polished and glass-like. I teach my signature foundation-free method here, which relies on expert skin analysis and prep rather than thick coverage.
* **Color Theory for Gowns:** Unlike sarees, modern gowns often come in pastels, lilacs, or metallics. You will learn how to harmonize makeup tones with these varied color palettes.
* **Long-Lasting Techniques:** The sangeet involves movement. We cover setting techniques that ensure the look remains pristine, even when the lights are bright and the night is long.
