## About Elegant Day Functions

The biggest challenge with daytime functions in Mumbai is the combination of humidity and harsh natural light. I use specialized, sweat-resistant formulas that sit light on the skin, ensuring your makeup stays intact without ever looking heavy or caked on. It is all about a dewy finish that looks seamless in candid sunlight, allowing your features to shine through rather than being covered up.

### Mastering the Natural Glow

Daytime makeup is completely different from evening glam. While evening events allow for heavy contouring and bold smokey eyes, daytime functions—like a Mehendi, morning wedding, or welcome lunch—require a lighter touch. My goal is to make your skin look like skin, just healthier and more radiant.

### Why Daylight Changes Everything

Natural light is unforgiving. It highlights everything, which is why my prep process for day events focuses heavily on skincare first. I use a mix of hydration boosters and gentle primers to create a smooth canvas that catches the light naturally. I steer away from thick, full-coverage foundations that can look matte and flat, opting instead for high-end, skin-like finishes that let you breathe.

### Humidity-Proofing Your Look

Living and working in Mumbai, I know how the heat works. Even for soft, minimal looks, I apply heavy-duty setting techniques, ensuring your makeup does not budge, melt, or separate by the time you are halfway through the ceremony. Whether it is a soft pink lip for a brunch or a subtle eye shimmer for a Mehendi, every product I pick is chosen to withstand the climate.

### How We Work Together

When we plan your daytime look, we look at your outfit colors and the venue lighting. If you are wearing pastel tones, I lean into soft, monochromatic makeup; for vibrant floral lehengas, I might add a touch of sparkle to the eyes to make them pop. The result is a look that feels effortlessly put together, letting you dance, laugh, and celebrate without worrying about touch-ups.
