Achieving a high-fashion, sleek look requires balancing heavy-duty hold with high-shine gloss that does not catch the light in a way that disrupts the photographer's frame. Whether I am crafting a tight, sculptural knot bun or a dramatic wet-effect style, my process is designed to withstand the intensity of an 8-hour shift. ### My Approach to Editorial Hair My work ranges from clean commercial ponytails for brand campaigns to more experimental, avant-garde textures for fashion editorials. I work closely with the stylist and photographer to ensure the hair complements the outfit and the lighting scheme. - **Wet Looks:** I use specialized gels and smoothing agents that provide a long-lasting, fluid appearance. I check the monitor constantly to fix flyaways that show up in high-resolution close-ups. - **Sculptural Shapes:** For more conceptual work, I focus on structural integrity.
