On set, makeup is part of the story. I do not just apply products; I prep skin to catch studio lights and use textures that define the camera's focus. Whether we are shooting a bold high-fashion editorial or a clean brand lookbook, my priority is ensuring the makeup holds up for hours under hot lights, keeping the model’s skin looking fresh and authentic throughout the entire session.

### My Approach to Editorial Artistry

When I step on set for a photoshoot, the goal is balance. Editorial makeup requires pushing boundaries—think sharp graphic liners, wet-look textures, and avant-garde color palettes—but it also demands technical precision. If the lighting is harsh, the base must be flawless without looking heavy. I work closely with photographers and stylists to ensure the makeup complements the lighting and outfit textures, rather than competing with them.

### Commercial vs. High-Fashion

I treat every project based on its specific output. For commercial lookbooks and product campaigns, I focus on clean, radiant skin and neutral tones. The aim here is consistency, especially when shooting multiple outfits for a digital catalog. My kits are packed with silicone-based primers and heavy-duty sealing sprays that ensure the look stays identical from the first shot to the last.

For high-fashion editorials, I lean into the 'drama.' I love playing with metallic gold leaf, intricate face embellishments, and bold, monochromatic color stories. These sessions are about mood and impact, and I love collaborating with a creative team to build something that feels new.
