My golden rule is simple: leave a half-inch gap between each saree pleat to prevent bunching, and secure heavy maang tikkas with U-pins attached to flowers, not just hair. These practical tweaks make all the difference between a look that shifts and one that stays flawless. ### For Brides: Making It Last Whether you are wearing a 9-yard Kanjeevaram for your Muhurtham or a heavy lehenga for your reception, the comfort comes down to the basics. * **The Pleat Rule:** When draping, leaving a consistent half-inch gap between each fold is the secret to ensuring pleats sit cleanly and do not bunch up or lift while you walk. * **Jewelry Security:** Heavy temple jewelry or 'Surya Chandra' accessories can pull on the hair.
