Bigger the lawn, lower the per sq ft rate. Typically ₹55-140 per sq ft (estimate) #### Site Preparation * **Jungle Clearance:** Removal of existing weeds, small bushes, and construction debris to level the ground. * **Red Soil Filling:** Supply and spreading of fertile red earth to a depth that suits the site. * **Enrichment:** Mixing of organic vermicompost, coco-peat, and manure for soil health. * **Grading:** Manual leveling of the ground to ensure proper water runoff. #### Softscaping * **Lawn Grass:** Supply and installation of Mexican Carpet Grass or Bermuda grass turf slabs. * **Border Planting:** Hardy border plants like Golden Duranta, Hibiscus, or Crotons along edges. * **Initial Care:** Deep watering immediately after installation and rolling with a heavy drum. #### Execution * **Labor:** Skilled gardener team. * **First Cut:** First lawn mowing visit after 15 to 20 days. * **Workmanship Stand-by:** If grass patches fail because of how we installed (soil prep, grading, or species choice for your site), we replace them free. Not a survival guarantee for any cause. #### Where Your Lawn Lands In This Range * **The grass itself is a flat rate.** Mexican grass with laying, soil treatment, manure, leveling and transport works out to about Rs 55 per sq ft, whatever the size. One grass mat covers 3 sq ft. * **What moves the number is the red soil filling and the labour.** Gardener days and lorry trips cost close to the same whether your lawn is small or big, so on a small lawn they push the per sq ft rate up. * **Small lawns (around 100 to 200 sq ft)** land near the top of the range, roughly Rs 130 to 140 per sq ft all in. * **Large lawns (1000 sq ft and above)** land near the bottom, roughly Rs 80 per sq ft all in. A recent 1250 sq ft lawn came to about Rs 1 lakh including 2 lorry loads of red soil, site cleaning, and waste disposal. * **Not included by default:** garden waste and debris disposal is quoted separately. Please ask for it upfront if your site needs clearing out. ### Terrace & Balcony Garden Makeover Artificial turf with drainage layer, FRP or cement planter clusters, and vertical green wall patches. Typically ₹160-230 per sq ft (estimate) #### Flooring & Surface * **Artificial Turf:** High density artificial grass laid with seam tape and adhesive for a single-carpet look. * **Drainage:** Drain cells under the turf where the surface needs protection. We proactively spec this so the install holds up in monsoon. * **Borders:** Polished white or multi-coloured river pebbles along edges to conceal the turf seam. #### Vertical & Potted Elements * **Vertical Patches:** Small vertical garden frames or wall-mounted pot holders. * **Planters:** FRP or cement pots in sizes that suit the spot. * **Plants:** Mix of ornamental container plants. Common picks include Areca Palm, Snake Plant, Croton. Final selection depends on the light at your site. #### Workmanship * **Workmanship Stand-by:** If a plant fails because of how we installed it (wrong species for your light, drainage missed, soil prep error), we replace it free. Not a survival guarantee for any plant death. ### Hardscaping & Stone Pathways Stone slab pathways with sand-cement mortar bedding. Grass-strip or cement joints for finish. Premium stone work and fountain construction sit at the upper end of the range. Typically ₹190-800 per sq ft (estimate) #### Material * **Stone:** Granite or Kadapa or Tandoor stone slabs, finish selected on site. Large or exotic stones are quoted higher. * **Fillers:** Polished decorative pebbles or live grass strips for the gaps. #### Installation * **Base Prep:** Leveling the ground and laying a sand-cement mortar bed for stability. * **Laying Pattern:** Stepping-stone pattern or continuous paving as agreed on site. * **Joints:** Filling joints with Mexican grass strips or cement pointing. #### Premium Scope * **Stone Fountains & Statue Construction:** In scope. These sit at the top of the per-sq-ft range because of stone grade, carving, and the structural work involved. Indicative anchor: a 100 sq ft stone fountain quoted at around Rs 80,000. * **Where Your Project Lands:** Simple stepping-stone pathways with standard Kadapa or Tandoor stones land near the lower end. Continuous paving in mid-grade stone sits in the middle. Premium stone, large slabs, or fountain / statue work lands near the top. ## About Landscaping Services ### What I Am Best At Lawn laying. Natural Mexican or bermuda grass, laid as mats on soil we have cleared, filled with red earth, treated and levelled first. One mat covers 3 sq ft. Plants and borders around it if you want, or just the grass work on its own. A lawn is all about the soil under it and the grass suiting your light. Get that wrong and no amount of watering saves it. ### What Else We Do Total landscaping from planning to planting, rooftop and terrace gardens, artificial turf, pathways, pebble work, pergolas, water features, vertical garden walls, topiary shaping. ### How We Design Beautiful AND sustainable. My aim is **Feel Like Heaven**, but only with what will hold up in your soil, your light, your monsoon. If a beautiful idea will not last 2 years on your site, I will say so and suggest what will. Tell me the general scope and let me pick the materials. ### How Pricing Works The per sq ft rate on the card spans different elements, it is not one rate for your whole plot. Area matters too. Labour and lorry trips cost nearly the same for a small lawn as a big one, so a 150 sq ft lawn works out much higher per sq ft than a 1250 sq ft one. Bigger area, better rate. If the quote is above your budget, tell me and we will cut scope together. I would rather give you a smaller garden done properly than the same garden done cheaply. ### Our Process * I come myself for the site visit, Rs 700 to 1,000 within 10 km, Rs 1,500 to 2,000 beyond. *Site visit illa andre design sariyagalla* (without the site visit the design will not be right). * The look is agreed on-site and I share photos of similar gardens. We do not make 2D or 3D drawings. * Written quote in a few days. Once you sign off, the design is locked. Quote valid 7 days. * Payment 50% advance, 35% on materials, 15% on completion. * The garden takes about 2 months to fill in. Day-1 is not day-60. ### What I Stand By If a plant fails because of how we installed it, wrong species, drainage missed, soil prep error, I replace it free. Normal deaths from missed watering or Bangalore weather are on the owner. ### Cancellation Policy Once the advance is paid, material already bought for your project (grass mats, pots, stones, plants) is non-refundable, that cost is committed on my side. If nothing has been sourced yet, refund is case-by-case.
