We do not just pick pretty plants. We select species that can handle these specific micro-climates and install drainage systems that keep your floors clean, so you get the joy of a garden without the constant mess. ### Our Approach to Urban Green Spaces We believe a garden is a living, breathing part of your home, not just a decorative corner. When we approach a balcony or terrace project, we focus on the practical realities of urban gardening in Bengaluru. This means planning for light, water drainage, and the specific wind patterns of your floor, whether you are on the first level or the tenth. ### What We Actually Do * **Climate-Smart Selection:** We choose plants that match your balcony’s sunlight exposure. If your space gets harsh afternoon sun, we focus on hardy, sun-loving varieties. If it is shaded, we bring in lush, moisture-loving foliage. * **Drainage & Maintenance:** The biggest fear for apartment dwellers is floor damage. We use elevated planters and efficient drainage setups to ensure your floor stays dry and easy to clean. * **Organic Growth:** We do not use harsh chemicals. Our gardens are fed with organic nutrients like Jeevamrut and vermicompost, ensuring your terrace is a safe, chemical-free zone for kids and pets. ### How We Work Together We offer both one-time makeovers for a fresh start and monthly subscription packages. If you choose our subscription, we handle everything from routine pruning and watering to pest management. This gives you a garden that stays lush year-round without you having to spend your weekends dealing with soil and pests. Whether you want a cozy spot for your morning chai or a productive terrace that grows herbs and fruits, we build a space that fits your lifestyle. ## About Make My Garden We started Make My Garden because we wanted city folks to stop ignoring their balconies. It is not just about placing pots; it is about creating a space where you can actually sit with a cup of tea, watch the rain, and feel a bit of peace after a long week.
