We focus on the groundwork, specifically proper soil engineering, adequate drainage, and selecting container-friendly varieties, so you are actually harvesting produce rather than just hoping for sprouts. Whether it is a terrace or a small backyard, we ensure your setup handles Bangalore's specific heat and monsoon cycles to keep your plants healthy. ### How We Design Your Harvest A productive garden needs more than sunlight. When we plan your space, we look at the specific orientation of your terrace or backyard. We use raised beds and durable containers that allow for proper root development, which is essential for fruit trees and deep-root vegetables. ### The Soil Science Most store-bought soil is too heavy for terrace loads. We mix our own blends using a specific ratio of cocopeat, vermicompost, and organic fertilizers. This creates a lightweight, nutrient-rich base that holds moisture without causing root rot, even during our heavy monsoon months. ### Designing for Bangalore 1. **Sun Exposure:** We analyze your site to place sun-loving crops like tomatoes and chilies in the right spots. 2. **Monsoon Protection:** We ensure proper drainage slopes and surface protection for your building waterproofing so you do not deal with leaks later. 3. **Vertical Support:** For cucumbers, beans, and gourds, we install trellis systems that maximize your yield per square foot without crowding the floor. ### What You Get We do not just install the setup and leave. We guide you on the right planting schedule based on the season. Whether you want a simple kitchen garden for daily herbs or a more ambitious fruit-bearing setup with dwarf varieties, we keep the maintenance practical so it remains a hobby, not a chore. ## About Make My Garden I am Ashish, and at Make My Garden, we believe your home should feed you.
