These workshops are my way of combining creative expression with support for causes I care about, like menstrual hygiene and community relief. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A video announcing my 'Paint for a Cause' workshop, where all proceeds went towards providing sustainable menstrual products to women in need. You don't just learn acrylic pouring here; you join a space where the act of creating—mixing your colors, watching them flow—helps us focus on something bigger than ourselves, supporting foundations like Kamakhya India. My charity workshops are proof that you don't need years of practice to make an impact. We take the fluid art techniques I teach—like the Dutch Pour or Flip Cup—and use them as a vehicle for good. Whether we are tackling period poverty in remote regions or raising funds for COVID relief, the goal is to get your hands dirty while doing something meaningful. The process is simple: we start with a quick breathing exercise to reset your headspace, then dive into the paint. You’ll walk away with a coaster or canvas that carries a story of contribution, not just color. These events are designed to be accessible, so even if you haven't touched a paintbrush since school, you're more than welcome. I often collaborate with local organisations to ensure the funds reach where they are needed most. We keep the barrier to entry low and the impact high. If you've been looking for a way to give back while finding a bit of calm, these sessions are for you. ## About Surekha Sundaram I’m Surekha. I started these sessions because I wanted my art to do more than just sit on a wall. It’s about taking our creative energy and directing it toward something that actually helps people.
