Whether it is the intricate Thikri glasswork in a guest bedroom or handwoven fixtures designed in collaboration with artisans from Kerala, every project shown here is an attempt to root modern luxury in tangible, human connection. This collection captures the evolution of our design language. We approach every interior design project as a narrative, ensuring the space feels like a conversation between our client's vision and the history of the materials we use. From the exaggerated volumes of a city penthouse to the quiet, earthy atmosphere of a Nilgiris farmhouse, our goal is to create environments that function as personal retreats. We often prioritize natural light and tactile, organic materials like Kota stone and lime plaster to build a foundation that is both timeless and comfortable. The craftsmanship is not just a stylistic choice but a fundamental requirement for our work. By collaborating with local craft clusters, we ensure that every piece, from an oversized woven lamp to a bathroom vanity with brass inlay, carries a unique energy. We invite you to look closely at these details, as they are the result of many conversations, site visits, and the dedication of our project team. If you are looking to create a space that feels deeply personal and alive, we are here to walk you through the process, from concept planning to final styling. ## About Maia Design Studio I am Shruti.
