Whether it is a small apartment balcony or a rooftop space, I use vibrant marigolds, fresh florals, and brass accents to set the perfect mood. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This is one of my favorite traditional setups for a Pellikoduku ceremony. I created the central Tirupati Balaji motif entirely from flowers, set against a backdrop of woven coconut leaves and accented with classic brass lamps. I often create custom backdrops using woven coconut leaves and marigold strings that fit perfectly in standard apartment living rooms or on terraces, ensuring the space feels festive without being cramped. ### Bringing Tradition to Your Home When planning a Haldi or Pellikoduku, the decor should feel like a natural extension of the ritual. I don't just drop off materials; I look at your available space—whether it is a small wall in your living room or a corner of your terrace—and design a setup that respects the ceremony's sanctity. ### Custom Elements for Your Ceremony I love working with traditional motifs. If you are looking for something specific, I can create backdrops featuring floral art, such as a Tirupati Balaji motif crafted from fresh flowers, or a vibrant sunflower mandap for a sunny, cheerful vibe. ### Practical Details for Your Event * **Material Quality:** I balance fresh flowers (marigolds, roses) for the fragrance and visual appeal with high-quality artificial foliage to ensure the backdrop stays looking fresh throughout the function. * **Setup Time:** For a standard home setup, I typically need 2 to 3 hours. I include my team for both installation and clean-up, so you do not have to worry about the logistics. * **Space Management:** I work with 8x10ft frames for indoor areas, which are perfect for standard ceiling heights in Bangalore apartments. If you have a larger venue, we can adjust the width. Everything I do is about making the decor feel like 'you,' not like a standard package off a shelf. If you have a specific color theme or a family tradition you want to incorporate, let me know, and we can make it happen. ## About Mahinava Events I’m Gayatri, and I believe your ceremony decor should be as authentic as the ritual itself. I love transforming living rooms and rooftops into vibrant, traditional spaces where you can focus on the celebration while I handle all the little details.
