We take the raw, 13kg force of the Chenda and sync it with modern cinematic BGMs, like our take on the KGF theme or popular pop hits. If you want your wedding entry or college event to have that extra thump, we work with you to pick a track that hits hard. ### More Than Just Drums Traditional Chenda is an art form that lives in our veins, but we love pushing the boundaries. Our fusion performances are about bridging the gap between the ancient, divine rhythm of the temple and the high-energy sound systems of a modern celebration. **What goes into our fusion sets:** * **Rhythmic Syncing:** We do not just play over a track. We break down the beat, find the pockets, and layer our percussion to enhance the original melody. Whether it is a violin solo or a high-tempo film score, we find a way to make it 'vere level' (next level). * **Event-Specific Energy:** For a wedding entrance, we keep the tempo high and celebratory. For college fests, we bring the aggression and heavy bass beats that get the student crowd roaring. * **Instrument Versatility:** We can integrate flutes, violins, or electronic overlays depending on the scale of your event. We have performed everything from small-scale private parties to massive college stage shows in and around Bangalore. ### The Reality of the Beat It sounds easy, but playing for three to four hours while syncing to complex tracks requires intense stamina. A Chenda drum weighs 13 kilos. Onnu thookki nokkiye (Just try lifting it). We deal with the pain and the fatigue because the reaction from the crowd when the beat drops makes every drop of sweat worth it. If you have a specific song or a theme in mind for your event, let us know. We are always up for a challenge and love bringing new sounds to life with our drums. ## About Mahadeva Kalasamithi We are Mahadeva Kalasamithi, a gang of brothers fueled by the rhythm of the Chenda.
