It is not just skill or practice. It is the sync between us. We spend as much time bonding off-stage as we do practicing in T. Dasarahalli. When you hire Mahadeva Kalasamithi, you are not getting performers-for-hire; you are getting a team that moves, breathes, and plays as one family. ### More than just a band When we pick up the Chenda, it is not just rhythm. It is a conversation between brothers. Being in Mahadeva Kalasamithi means more than showing up for a gig across Bangalore. It is about years of building trust. A 13kg drum is heavy, and playing it for three hours straight takes serious stamina. We do not just train for the beat; we train for the endurance. ### The bond behind the beat Why does our energy feel different? It is the brotherhood. You see it in our performances, whether it is a traditional temple festival or a high-energy college fest. We spend weekends conditioning, learning stick control, and pushing each other to get better. This is why our Chendamelam performances have that 'vere level' vibe. ### Join the family We are always looking for new brothers to join the journey. We train students from scratch for their Chenda Arangetam. We handle the temple venue booking, the uniforms, and the media coordination. If you have the passion to carry the drum, we have the space for you. ### Hire us for your event Looking for authentic percussion for your wedding or festival? Whether you need a full ensemble for a traditional Shinkarimelam or a fusion performance, we bring the energy. We travel across Bangalore, bringing our brothers and our drums to your celebration. Let us make it loud. ## About Mahadeva Kalasamithi We are Mahadeva Kalasamithi, a gang of brothers bound by our love for the Chenda. We have spent five years turning our passion into a vibe that keeps Bangalore dancing, from temple festivals to college stages.
