When you see our team perform, you are seeing the result of years of practicing Chembada Melam and Shinkarimelam beats, where we prioritize stamina and synchronization over everything else. We don't just play, we create a vibe. Our ensemble is built on the belief that percussion is about connection—between the drummer and the instrument, and between the team and the crowd. We train at our base in T. Dasarahalli, where we focus on stick control (Kolthaari) and physical conditioning before any rhythm work begins. ### Our Approach to Percussion Whether it is a temple festival, a college fest, or a private event, we bring a high-energy performance style. We offer: * **Shinkarimelam and Chendamelam:** Traditional rhythm arrangements for weddings and public celebrations. * **Chenda Fusion:** Modern, upbeat percussion sets for when you want the crowd moving. ### Learning the Craft For those looking to master this art, we guide you from your very first session to your Arangetam (debut). We believe that if you have the fire, you can learn. Our Arangetam package includes everything from venue management at a local temple to media coverage and professional photography, making sure your debut is a genuine celebration of your hard work. If you are planning an event in Bangalore or looking to join our training batches, reach out to us. We are always looking for people who respect the discipline of the beat. ## About Mahadeva Kalasamithi We are a band of brothers tied together by the love of the Chenda.
