Here is a look at my story, the reality behind the illusions, and why I do what I do. ## Photos and videos - [Video: In this podcast clip, I talk about my early struggles and how I found my way out of the 'chakraview' of life through magic. I discuss how it feels when a trick fails and the months of practice that go into perfecting a single illusion.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/05afb5b5-f092-413f-acf9-54f5df1cf968) ## About My Story & In the Media You might see the flashy illusions, but the real work happened long before I stepped on stage. I spent years in a literal chakraview, trying to find my path, and that struggle is exactly why I don't take a single audience for granted. When you book me, you get someone who knows exactly what it feels like to fail and keeps working until the magic actually lands. People often ask why I focus so much on the 'why' behind the magic. It is because I was not born into this industry. Growing up without much money meant I had to start working early, and for a long time, life felt like a maze. I call it my own personal chakraview. I found my escape in illusions, but it was not a fairy tale success story. I have had my share of embarrassing failures on stage, and I have spent months perfecting a single trick just to get it right. This is why my shows are different. When I perform for your corporate team or at a family event, I am not just going through the motions. I bring that same intensity, the one that forced me to learn mind reading and hypnosis from scratch, to make sure your event is actually worth it. I do not believe in just showing up; I believe in making a connection. If you are looking for someone who takes the responsibility of your entertainment seriously, that is me. Whether it is a stage show for 500 guests or a close-up session in a small room, I approach every setup with the same mindset: leave no room for error. I have performed for teams at SBI, the Indian Air Force, and various events at Hyatt. My goal is simple: to make your guests feel something, whether it is wonder, laughter, or just pure amazement at a mind-reading reveal. I am always learning, and I am always ready to adapt to the crowd in front of me. ## About Dev Singh I am Dev, and magic saved me when I was stuck in a rut.
