Please note that our Turkish coffee is served traditionally without filtration, and our wine list is selected to pair specifically with the spice profiles of our Lebanese and Moroccan mains. At Maffei Kitchen, I treat the cellar with the same respect as the kitchen. The wine bar is not just a place to grab a drink; it is an extension of the dining table where we pour labels that stand up to the robust heat of Moroccan tagine or the creamy textures of our mezze. If you enjoy a bold red with your lamb or a sparkling white to cut through the richness of our cheese-stuffed manakeesh, my team can guide you to the right glass. Then there is the coffee. I prepare it in a traditional brass cezve, simmering finely ground Arabica beans until the foam rises, exactly as it is done in the markets I remember from home. It is a slow process, but it is the only way to get that authentic, gritty texture and deep flavor. You can find this experience at our Koramangala and Vasanth Nagar locations.
