It is a slow, methodical process that requires patience, resulting in a rich texture that is best enjoyed alongside our house-made desserts. ### The Art of the Cezve At Maffei Kitchen, coffee is a deliberate ritual. We use beans ground to a powder consistency, much finer than what you would find for typical brewing methods. This fine grind is essential for the texture that defines authentic Turkish coffee. When you order, we combine the coffee, water, and optional spice infusions in a traditional brass cezve and heat it slowly until it reaches the perfect temperature. ### Why Unfiltered Matters The hallmark of this coffee is its body. Because we do not use filters, the sediment remains in the cup, resulting in a thick, velvety mouthfeel that carries deep, complex notes.
