Here, we build the grit and the glovework you need to own that space behind the stumps. ## Photos and videos - [Video: Footwork and glovework are the two pillars of efficient wicket-keeping. It is about anticipation and that split-second decision. In our sessions, we do not just stand behind the stumps waiting for chances. We use reaction drills, like the ramp deflection work you see in our gallery, to force you to react to unpredictable bounces and snicks. It is about building muscle memory so your hands move before your brain even processes the ball. Wicket-keeping is a specialist's job. At Macho Cricket Academy, we teach that concentration is everything. If you are training with us, you are not here for easy catches. We focus on the art of adjustment—reading the bowler's hand, anticipating the deviation on dusty Mumbai tracks like Cross Maidan, and staying switched on for every single delivery. Our drills include intense glovework sessions where we use sidearms to test your reflexes against high-pace edges. We also practice handling the ball on uneven surfaces. This prepares you for the real deal. Whether it is snick catches or quick stumpings, we break the movement down. It takes time, but as I always say, 'slowly but definitely' you will get there. If you are serious about becoming a complete, thinking wicket-keeper, we are ready to grind with you. ## About Macho Cricket Academy I am Moin, and at Macho Cricket Academy, we believe wicket-keeping is a craft, not just a position. We do not believe in quick fixes. We believe in sweat, repetition, and learning how to read the pitch better than anyone else.
