For us, it’s more like a living canvas - something that quietly changes the vibe of a place and brings out stories through community, reflection, and connection. We’re not about flashy statements, but about creating spots that let people pause, think, and feel. ### What Drives Our Design - Narrative is everything. We dig deep into stories and local context, whether it’s reimagining a step-well or using light as architecture in a canal. - Our installations aren’t just for looking at - they’re immersive, sometimes interactive. You’ll find spaces you can walk through, touch, or just sit with. - Stillness matters. Most of our work tries to carve out quiet pockets for memory and contemplation, even in busy urban spaces. - We pull inspiration from heritage crafts and natural forms, blending them into city life in a way that feels both old and new. ### Where Our Work Lives You’ll see our site-specific art installations out in public squares, cultural spaces, and landscapes - like the minimalist ring sculpture floating in Mysore’s water or the slow design piece for Kharkiv. We love working with light-based public art, shaping space through light and its reflection, like our Amsterdam installation. Inside, our functional art for interiors mixes utility with beauty, taking cues from traditional crafts and giving them a modern twist. ## Highlights Browse through M9 Design Studio's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/m9_designstudio/art-installation-design/featured) - ![Our light installation, 'Echoes of the Deep', reimagines an ancient Indian step-well on an Amsterdam canal. It’s letting nature sneak in, like Geoffrey Bawa did—quiet, blended, always changing. You’ll see bits of Kutch’s Lipan Kaam in our work, mud and mirrors telling stories. Awards are cool, sure, but what really sticks is seeing kids dancing in a space we dreamed up. That’s when a building feels alive. ### My work - **What We Do**: Architecture, masterplanning, interiors for homes and offices, product design inspired by traditional crafts. - **Design Philosophy**: Every project is a story. We want spaces to spark community and be living canvases. - **Nature-Integrated Spaces**: We do slow architecture—spaces that blend into landscapes, not fight them. - **The 'In-Between' Spots**: Courtyards, lobbies, pathways—these shared pockets are where real connections happen. - **Materials We Love**: Steel, brick, lime plaster, Kota stone—always picking what feels right for the space. ## More services from M9 Design Studio - [Urban Design & Masterplanning](https://mytribe.in/m9_designstudio/urban-design-masterplanning) · ₹15-50L per 10-acre site (estimate) - [Product & Decor Design](https://mytribe.in/m9_designstudio/product-decor-design) · ₹8K-1.2L per piece (estimate) - [Architectural Design](https://mytribe.in/m9_designstudio/architectural-design) · ₹70-180 per sq.ft (estimate) - [Commercial Interior Design](https://mytribe.in/m9_designstudio/commercial-interior-design) · ₹80-250 per sq.ft (estimate) ## Book To book M9 Design Studio, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Art%20%26%20Installation%20Design%20by%20M9%20Design%20Studio.)
