According to Vastu principles, every timber carries a distinct frequency. We often guide families to place robust woods like Teak in areas requiring strength and longevity, while reserving specific textures for spaces where you need calm. It is not just about aesthetics; it is about ensuring the energy of your home aligns with your family’s daily life. ### Balancing Vastu and Durability In our decades at the sawmill, we have learned that Vastu is not just about superstition; it is often rooted in practical architectural logic. When we select wood for your *vasakal* (door frame) or bedroom furniture, we focus on density and source. * **Strength & Energy:** Woods like Teak are dense and hold energy well, making them ideal for the main door or structural furniture that supports the house. * **Placement Logic:** We recommend placing heavier furniture in the South or West zones of a room, keeping the North and East lighter to allow energy flow. If you are building a pooja mandir, we often suggest Teak or Sandalwood for their traditional associations with purity and focus. ### Busting Wood Myths Clients often come to us with common concerns. Let’s set the record straight: * **"Wood is not eco-friendly":** This is a misconception. Responsibly sourced timber is one of the most renewable materials available, especially when compared to plastic or synthetic laminates that are difficult to recycle. * **"Termites are inevitable":** Termites target untreated, damp wood. In our factory, we ensure timber is seasoned and chemically treated at the core. Well-maintained woodwork, properly treated, can last for generations, not just a few years. Whether you are planning a grand entrance or a simple feature wall, come to our Banashankari experience center. We can show you how different cuts feel and talk through the best timber choices for your specific floor plan. ## About LSM Interno We are LSM Interno.
