## About Creative Expression: Arts, Music & Drama

Art here is not about making a perfect painting that looks like the teacher’s example. It is about the process, messy colors, and experimenting with textures to see what happens when you mix materials. We provide the tools, but your child makes the creative decisions, giving them the confidence to turn their own ideas into reality.

### More Than Just Crafts
At our Kothanur and Thanisandra campuses, we treat creativity as a fundamental skill, not just a hobby. Our approach to arts and crafts focuses on open-ended play. You will see children using loose parts, recycled items, and various mediums to build, paint, and sculpt. By removing the pressure to follow step-by-step instructions, we allow children to develop their problem-solving skills and learn that it is okay to make mistakes.

### The Tāla Music Partnership
We partner with Tāla Education to bring rhythm and movement into our daily routine. This is not a standard music class. Our 'Sing, Move & Play' sessions help children connect rhythm to their physical movements. Whether they are learning to hold a beat on a drum or expressing themselves through song, the focus is on cognitive development and building social bonds. It is a vital part of our program that helps children find their rhythm and confidence.

### Dramatics and Storytelling
Our drama activities give children a safe stage to explore emotions and different perspectives. By stepping into roles, they learn empathy and communication in a fun, supportive setting. From the initial shy attempts at a character to confident storytelling on stage, we support every child at their own pace.

Whether you are looking for after-school enrichment or a full preschool program, our creative sessions ensure your child has the tools to express themselves clearly and confidently.

## About Little Red Hen

We are a team of educators who believe children are naturally curious. We created this space to let kids be kids, to scribble, to drum, and to act out stories without being told exactly how to do it. We are here to help them find their own rhythm.
