It is our way of teaching sustainability and traditional crafts, turning a standard holiday into a hands-on learning experience that feels meaningful to every child. At Little Red Hen, we do not just mark the calendar. We treat every festival and theme day as a unique opportunity to build bonds between our children, their families, and our teachers. Whether it is our independence day performances at our Kothanur campus, or our quirky Crazy Hat Days in Thanisandra, these moments are central to our play-way philosophy. ### Building Community Through Culture We keep our events simple and authentic to ensure children feel involved, not just observed. * **Eco-Conscious Traditions:** During Ganesh Chaturthi, we focus on eco-friendly idol making to teach sustainability alongside tradition. * **Confidence Building:** Our theme days, like Pyjama Day or Crazy Hat Day, allow kids to step out of their comfort zones, wear their favorite outfits, and share stories with their peers. * **Inclusive Celebrations:** From Diwali decorations to Christmas carols, we invite parents to join us, making our campuses feel like an extension of your own living room. These gatherings break the monotony of the academic routine. They provide a safe space for children to express themselves, practice social skills, and develop a sense of belonging in a community that cares about who they are, not just what they can achieve. ## About Little Red Hen We are a group of women who started this place in 2014 because we wanted more for our own kids. We don't just mark off calendar holidays; we use them to build bonds between kids, parents, and our teachers.
