At our Kothanur and Thanisandra centers, we believe children learn best when they don't realize they're 'learning.' We trade rote drills for sensory play and curiosity-led exploration.

## About Learning That Feels Like Play

We swap traditional textbooks for Loose Parts Play and 'Number Ninjas' puzzles because real-world problem solving isn't taught in a lecture. When you visit our North Bengaluru centers, you won't find children sitting in rows; you'll find them figuring out how to build, create, and collaborate with peers in a safe, open-ended environment.

We started Little Red Hen because we believe that education should feel like home, not a race to tick boxes. Our approach to play-based learning in Kothanur and Thanisandra is designed to foster critical thinking, curiosity, and emotional development.

### Why Our Approach Works
Instead of scripted lessons, we use a flexible curriculum that adapts to the child. Whether it's our 'Number Ninjas' logic games or phonics sessions that turn letters into friends, we ensure the focus stays on the process of discovery, not just the result. 

### Core Methodology
- **Loose Parts Play:** We provide open-ended materials that allow children to build their own worlds, which develops fine motor skills and creativity.
- **Sensory Pathways:** Our centers incorporate seven distinct surface textures to engage sight, sound, touch, balance, and movement.
- **Small Group Focus:** With a maximum of 7 children per batch, every child receives the individual attention required to flourish.

### Our North Bengaluru Hubs
We operate two warm, safe spaces in Kothanur and Thanisandra. We view these spaces as extensions of the home, equipped with outdoor turf, sandpits, and fan-cooled rooms where children can be themselves. We also partner with experts in music and athletics to ensure that while the environment feels like play, the development is deliberate and comprehensive. We started Little Red Hen back in 2014, a bunch of women with big dreams and even bigger hearts. We didn't want to run just another preschool; we wanted a place where kids feel at home, not like they're just students ticking boxes on a syllabus.
