In my character drawing workshops, we turn complex facial features into simple, manageable shapes, making it easy for beginners to capture expressions and personality without feeling overwhelmed by the process. Sketching is the foundation of every great artwork, but it is often taught in a way that feels rigid or intimidating. My sessions focus on removing that pressure. Whether you are interested in my caricature camps for children or doodling workshops for adults, the goal remains the same: to build hand-eye coordination and visual confidence. In my caricature sessions, we look at what makes a face unique. We break down the elements—the curve of a nose, the shape of glasses, or a distinctive smile—and learn how to exaggerate those features to tell a story. This isn't just about drawing funny faces; it is a practical exercise in seeing and simplifying. For younger artists, these camps serve as a fantastic introduction to artistic expression. I have seen shy children gain confidence as they learn that their imagination has a place on the page. We cover everything from character design to basic portraiture, ensuring that every participant leaves with a piece of work they are proud of. We also explore the meditative side of drawing through doodling. By using simple patterns from our environment, we create intricate designs that act as a form of active relaxation. If you are in Mumbai and looking for a creative outlet that combines skill-building with genuine fun, I would love to have you join my next batch. All sessions are designed for small groups to ensure everyone gets enough guidance to improve. ## About Little Hands by Uttara I’m Uttara, and I believe that messy hands are the sign of a good day. My workshops are built on the idea that drawing should be therapy, not a test. I’ll help you or your child look at the world, find the shapes, and put them on paper without any pressure to be perfect.
