The light is incredibly flattering, but more importantly, it keeps the little ones comfortable and happy, so we can focus on play rather than trying to beat the harsh afternoon heat. While studio sessions are great for control, outdoor photography offers a freedom that is hard to replicate. Whether we meet at a quiet park, a garden, or your favorite local spot in Mumbai, the goal is the same: to get photos that feel like you. ### Why choose an outdoor setting? Outdoor sessions allow your children to run, explore, and be themselves. When kids aren't confined to a backdrop or a specific chair, their true personality shines through. We can capture those running races, the way your child looks at you when you are tickling them, and the simple joy of being outdoors. It turns a photoshoot into an activity rather than a chore. ### Preparing for your outdoor session * **Wardrobe:** Keep it simple and comfortable. Avoid heavy prints or neon colors that distract from your faces. Soft, neutral tones or coordinated colors work best to keep the focus on your family connection. * **Timing:** We will aim for early mornings or late afternoons. This avoids the midday glare and keeps the environment calm and relaxed. * **Backup Plan:** Since we are at the mercy of the weather, I always keep a flexible schedule. If Mumbai brings us a sudden downpour, we can easily reschedule or move to a shaded area. My approach is to keep things relaxed. We do not need perfectly staged smiles. If your toddler wants to wander off to look at a flower, we follow them. If the baby needs a cuddle to settle down, we take that time.
