I hand-press the organic whole wheat pastry shell myself, ensuring it’s rustic, flaky, and sturdy enough to hold the generous filling. Because I use high-quality butter instead of margarine or hydrogenated fats, the crust keeps its nutty, wholesome crunch even when served at room temperature. Sometimes you just want something warm and savory to balance out the sweetness of a party. My kitchen acts as a lab where I apply the same 'naked bakes' philosophy to savory tarts as I do to my cakes. This means absolutely no maida, no refined additives, and zero shortcuts. ### The Whole Wheat Difference Most commercial quiches rely on white flour crusts that turn soggy quickly. My 9-inch quiche base is made from 100% organic whole wheat flour. It provides a deeper, nuttier flavour profile that actually complements the richness of the filling. ### My Signature Fillings I keep my menu focused on two distinct styles that cater to different dietary needs: * **Chicken & Mushroom:** This is for those who want a hearty, protein-rich bite. I use tender chunks of chicken breast and fresh button mushrooms, set in a classic, savoury egg-based custard with fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary. * **Vegetarian Eggless Quiche:** This was born out of requests from my community. Instead of eggs, I create a dense, creamy binder using fresh cottage cheese (paneer) and milk. It is packed with colourful red and yellow bell peppers, sweet corn, and halved cherry tomatoes. Topped with fresh basil, it looks gorgeous when it comes out of the oven—dekho kitna beautiful lag raha hai! ### Why these work for your party Whether you are hosting a group of teens or planning a cozy evening with friends, these quiches are designed to be shared. They travel well and are easy to portion out into 6 to 8 substantial slices. Because they are nutrient-dense and made from scratch, you don't have to worry about the 'heavy' feeling that usually comes with party snacks. Just let me know your requirements at least 48 hours in advance so I can source the freshest produce for your order. ## About Naked Bakes I’m Tushima, and my kitchen is my 'cake lab' where I bake from love. I focus on creating honest, savory treats like these quiches because I believe party food should be just as healthy as it is delicious. Whether it’s a school event or a cozy evening with friends, I want you to enjoy every bite without the guilt of refined ingredients.
