We keep our batches small so that every child, whether they are four or twelve, gets the guidance they need to troubleshoot their own project. You will see them struggle for a minute, and then truly light up when they finally get it right. ### The Science of Doing At our maker space in North Bangalore, we believe the best way to learn physics is to build the machine yourself. We move away from textbooks and blackboards, replacing them with PVC pipes, cardboard, MDF sheets, and real tools. When a child constructs a periscope or assembles a glider, they are not just making a toy. They are exploring principles of light reflection, potential energy, and aerodynamics in a way that sticks. ### Why Hands-On Matters We see kids who have never held a screwdriver before walk in, and by the end of the session, they are confident enough to fix their own creations. We introduce tools like sandpaper and glue to build fine motor skills, but the real goal is fostering a 'can-do' attitude. Whether it is calculating the pitch of a PVC flute or balancing the weight on a straw helicopter, children are learning that they have the power to create, not just consume. ### What We Cover * **Physics in Motion:** Stomp rockets, gliders, and airplanes that teach propulsion and kinetic energy. * **Engineering Basics:** Constructing periscopes and mechanical toys that explore light and structural integrity. * **Acoustics & Geometry:** Making instruments and geometric art tools that demonstrate sound waves and patterns. Our workshops are designed for ages 4-14, ensuring the complexity matches the child's development. Every session is supervised to ensure safety while allowing the messy, creative exploration that makes science fun. ## About Little Wings Innovation Labs I’m Rahul, and I started Little Wings because I was that kid who had to break a toy to see how it worked. Here, we give children the freedom to use real tools and explore science without the pressure of a classroom, helping them turn their curiosities into inventions.
