In a world that rushes, our strength lies in softness. Here is the philosophy behind my practice, where Taoist wisdom meets the quiet, meditative art of Yin Yoga.

It is a meditative, non-muscular practice rooted in Taoism that honors our differences and invites us to find stillness in a shape that works for our own body.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/17874b1f-aac9-4865-9235-7d8504729e0f)

## About My Yin Yoga Philosophy

Yin Yoga isn’t about gym results or perfecting a pose. It is a slow, meditative practice where we hold floor-based shapes to target deep fascia and joints. Because I honor your body’s unique anatomy, there are no right or wrong ways to be in a shape. We simply adapt, breathe, and let gravity do the work.

When I teach, I draw from Taoist philosophy. The Tao Te Ching teaches us about 'wu wei,' or action through non-doing. In my sessions, we bring this into our bodies. We stop pushing, we stop competing, and we start listening.

Whether you join me at the Shoonya Centre in Bengaluru or at Yog Yug in Jaipur, my approach remains the same: it is about creating a container for you to be exactly who you are, without the need to perform.

### What to expect
My workshops are not just exercise; they are a retreat. We use props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support you so your muscles can release. We don't stretch to the point of pain. Instead, we find our 'edge' and linger there, allowing the connective tissues to soften.

If you are joining my online classes, the setup is simple. You just need a quiet corner, a mat, and some cushions from your sofa if you don't have specialized props. I offer verbal cues that focus on your internal experience rather than how the shape looks from the outside.

### Who this is for
This practice is for the person who feels tired of the constant hustle. It’s for those who want to feel more grounded, whether you are dealing with physical stiffness or mental chatter. If you are a senior looking for mobility, a creative person needing a reset, or someone curious about somatic movement, you will find a place here.

I keep my classes small and cozy. We often include journaling, tea, and readings from Taoist poetry to help us transition from our busy lives into this slower, 'yinside' rhythm.
