Because each branching arm can be adjusted to flow horizontally or vertically, I always perform a site assessment of your ceiling’s structural capacity to ensure the final sculpture balances perfectly in your space. ### Infinite Configurations The Luna series, designed by Gabriel Scott, departs from static lighting norms. Instead of fixed fixtures, this system utilizes a central illuminated tube upon which various blown-glass spheres and teardrops are mounted. Whether you require a linear horizontal chandelier for a dining table or a complex, vertical cascading sculpture for a double-height staircase, the arrangement is adaptable to your architectural constraints. ### Materiality and Craft Each piece within this collection prioritizes the contrast between industrial-grade brass fittings and the delicate nature of hand-blown glass. The glass elements vary in texture, color, and translucency, allowing the light to diffuse differently depending on your choice of smoke, clear, or colored spheres. This layering of materials creates a sculptural presence that functions as a centerpiece even when the lights are off. ### Technical Installation Integrating such a system requires more than mounting hardware. Because these installations often span several meters, we analyze the weight distribution of the glass drops to ensure secure anchoring. Our installation process covers: * **Site Consultation:** Reviewing ceiling reinforcement and electrical points. * **3D Modelling:** Mapping the flow of spheres to suit your specific void dimensions. * **Precision Tuning:** Adjusting cable lengths on-site to achieve the desired organic shape. * **Automation:** Ensuring dimming compatibility with existing home control systems. These pieces are not just functional lighting; they are engineered art installations. Whether you are looking for a singular focal point for a bedside or a dramatic installation for a foyer, the Luna series offers a blend of geometric precision and soft ambiance. ## About Lightbox I founded Lightbox because I believe lighting deserves to be treated as a sculptural element, not just a utility. I work directly with you to understand how your room moves and feels, then translate that into a tailored Luna installation that fits exactly where you need it to shine.
