In my studio, we do not start with abstract theory. We start with the armature. You will learn to build a stable frame and layer your material to achieve anatomical accuracy, whether you are crafting a life-sized bust or a complex wall relief. It is messy, physical, and the fastest way to understand how form interacts with light. Working in three dimensions forces you to slow down and see the world differently. In our Kalkaji studio, we move beyond basic clay handling to explore advanced techniques used in both fine art and interior design. ### What You Will Learn - **Armature & Construction:** How to create a structural foundation that supports the weight of your clay without collapsing. - **Anatomy & Proportions:** We break down facial structures and figure proportions to ensure your sculptures look realistic and grounded. - **Bas-Relief & Wall Art:** Learn how to sculpt directly onto a surface, a skill perfect for those interested in creating custom murals or unique home decor. - **Surface Detailing:** How to use specialized tools to create texture, hair, or fabric effects that make a piece feel finished and intentional. For students preparing for NIFT, NID, or other design college portfolios, we combine these 3D projects with charcoal realism to develop a well-rounded skill set. If you are joining for a hobby, the focus remains on the joy of creating; we have the tools, the space, and the reference library to help you work on projects ranging from small busts to larger, wall-mounted installations. Sculpture is about patience. You will learn to observe, reshape, and layer until the form emerges. It does not require prior experience, just the willingness to get your hands dirty and learn the basics of spatial design. ## About Liger Art Academy I'm Rakesh, and for me, art is just how I talk. Whether it is a massive Shiva sculpture or a detailed wall relief, I love the physical act of shaping something out of nothing. I created this space to help you get lost in the process, not just the result.
