We focus on getting your hands messy, understanding the texture of the batter, and actually learning why your cake rises or why it might not. Whether you are a total beginner or just looking to spend a fun weekend in Powai, my sessions are about keeping it real, simple, and delicious. I run small-batch workshops because I believe baking is a tactile skill. You cannot learn to fold batter by just reading a recipe. In my kids sessions, we focus on safety and creativity, while my adult classes dive into the science of baking. We cover everything from perfecting fruit soaking for traditional Christmas cakes to getting that crumb texture just right for tea cakes. All materials, aprons, and ingredients are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm. Outside the kitchen, you will often find me at local community exhibitions and events. From Dandiya nights in Lake Homes to pre-Diwali pop-ups across Mumbai, these events are my favorite way to connect with you. It is where I get to see your reactions to my latest festive experiments in real-time. If you have an event or a community gathering and need a dessert pop-up that draws a crowd, let us chat. ## About Let's Eat I am Aakanksha, the one-woman army behind Let’s Eat. I started these workshops because I wanted to share the joy I found in my own kitchen, and I honestly love seeing you replicate my signature bakes. When I am not teaching, I am out and about at local events, bringing the bakery directly to you.
