Our goalkeeper coach, Atif Ansari, focuses on the mechanics of diving—specifically how to land using the back and keeping elbows up to prevent injury—before we ever move on to shot-stopping speed. You learn the craft from day one, not just the highlights. Being a goalkeeper is the toughest job on the pitch. One error and the ball is in the net. That is why we treat goalkeeping as a specialized discipline, separate from general football coaching. We focus on the three pillars of a great keeper: technique, reaction, and communication. ### The Mechanics of the Save We start with the basics. Whether it is handling an aerial ball or a quick grounder, every motion must be controlled. Coach Atif Ansari, a former Tata Football Academy player with elite Mumbai division experience, personally drills players on proper falling techniques. If you do not know how to fall, you get injured. If you are injured, you are not playing. ### Mental & Physical Edge Training in our centers—Bandra, Andheri, or Mahim—means you get more than just drills. We use whiteboard sessions to improve game IQ, teaching keepers how to organize their defense and when to commit off the line. It is about reading the game before the striker even shoots. ### Join Our Net Guardians Whether you are a beginner learning your first dive or an older player looking to refine your positioning for competitive league matches, we have a spot for you. Our training is grounded in reality, not fluff. We work with boys and girls across all age groups who are serious about protecting their goal. If you are ready to put in the work, reach out for a trial session. ## About Lemon Break Sports I am Rajshekhar, and at Lemon Break, we do not just put anyone in goal. We build guardians of the net.
