That is why I personally pick our calmest, most experienced Marwari and Kathiyawadi horses for kids aged 4 and up. Your child will never be left alone in the arena; a dedicated handler walks right beside them, ensuring their balance and confidence are supported from the first minute until the ride ends. ### Why Kids and Families Love Riding With Us Horse riding is more than a weekend activity. It is where kids build character, resilience, and a deep connection with nature. We do not just teach riding; we teach trust. #### Safe Starts for Tiny Tots We specialize in teaching children as young as four. Our arena uses safe, sand-based surfaces, and we provide properly fitted safety helmets for every rider. We start with 'lead rope' sessions where the handler manages the horse, letting the child focus entirely on getting comfortable with the rhythm and movement. #### Why Our Horses Are Special Our Marwari and Kathiyawadi horses are not just animals. They are family. These breeds are known for their intelligence and loyalty, making them perfect partners for young riders. We rotate horses based on the child's temperament, ensuring a calm and steady experience every time. #### More Than Just Lessons - **Therapeutic Benefits:** Many families come to us for the sensory and physical benefits. The connection with the animal helps children with special needs build focus and confidence. - **Family Bonding:** We love seeing father-daughter or mother-son duos learning together. It creates a memory that lasts much longer than any screen time. - **Summer Camps & Birthdays:** Need something different for your kid's birthday? Swap the balloons for horses. Our farm is built for fun, interaction, and real animal experiences. If you are nervous about your child starting, just come by for a single session. Let them pet the horses, watch the other kids, and get a feel for the stable. The best way to learn is to just get in the saddle. ## About Legacy Horse Riding School I believe riding is for everyone, and it is a special joy to teach kids as young as four. I created this space for families to step away from screens and connect with the raw, honest energy of our indigenous horses. Come join the madness and be part of the legacy.
